Mabel joined Markel Singapore in 2023 as a Marine Hull and War Underwriter, bringing over a decade of experience across Marine Hull, P&I, liability and general insurance. Prior to joining Markel Mabel worked for a broker. Throughout her career in marine insurance, she has extensive experience developing business and working with brokers and clients across Singapore and around the South East Asia.

Apart from underwriting, Mabel is also Markel’s Diversity and Inclusion lead for Asia. Outside work, Mabel enjoys travelling, exploring new cultures and cuisines, and spending time with her young son and daughter, an aspiring soprano singer.
