Simon previously had the role of Transmarine Class Underwriter where he developed the Class II and Class III products. He left the MECO Group in 2003 to follow a career in the travel sector working with a specialist tour operator within the expedition cruise vessel market.

Now back at the MECO Group, Simon leads the Transmarine underwriting team and is responsible for maintaining and developing the book of business.

He enjoys long walks in the surrey hills with his over energetic Greek rescue dog and loves to get stuck into a garden project. Relaxation takes the form of paddle boarding and kayaking off the south coast, or chilling with a good book watching the yachts sailing out of Chichester harbour.
