With the creation of the Charterers P&I Club in London in 1986, we set up the first P&I insurer dedicated exclusively to charterers' interests and since then we have established ourselves as a respected market leader. Our comprehensive charterers’ liability cover and Defence (FD&D) insurance is available to all charterers and traders. Our assureds include large shipping companies chartering vessels under a voyage or time charterparty and also traders who are fixing vessels for the international transportation of their cargoes.
